Bransford Oak International School is dedicated to providing 'high-quality international education'. We aim to develop well-rounded students through academic excellence, critical thinking, creativity, and global citizenship.
Our inclusive environment nurtures essential skills and competencies for future success in an ever-changing world.
Bransford Oak International School offers the Cambridge Curriculum from Early Years to Key Stage Two, providing a strong and engaging foundation for lifelong learning. Our approach nurtures curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking in a warm and inclusive environment that supports every child’s development.
Through hands-on learning, creative exploration, and values-based education, we help our pupils build essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and inquiry. Our goal is to ensure they are well-prepared for the next stages of their academic journey.
The Cambridge Primary Programme is globally respected and recognised for its excellence in developing young learners. It equips our pupils with the tools they need to thrive both in the classroom and in the wider world.
At Bransford Oak, we partner closely with families to support each child’s progress and potential, laying the groundwork for academic success and strong character from the very start.
The Early Years section at Bransford Oak encompasses 3 year groups: Playgroup or 'Little Bransford', Kindergarten Stage 1 (KG1) and Kindergarten Stage 2 (KG2).
At Bransford Oak, we proudly follow the Cambridge International Education curriculum exclusively—offering your child a world-class foundation from the very start. Our Early Years programme is thoughtfully designed to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. Children progress through clearly defined milestones across key areas: communication, language, physical development, and personal growth. These core areas are enriched by literacy, numeracy, creative expression, and global awareness. With a focus on holistic development, we prepare every child not just for school—but for a successful, fulfilling future in an ever-evolving world.
Bransford’s holistic approach to teaching and learning in the early years builds children’s capacity to learn. Through a balance of child-initiated and adult-led approaches, our teaching teams create a rich and stimulating environment that ignites children’s curiosity and enthusiasm to learn, and supports every child’s development.
At the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage, students move seamlessly into Key Stage One (KS1), a two-year phase that encompasses Year 1 and Year 2, for students from 5 to 7 years old.
A more formal approach to lessons begins in Key Stage 1. At Bransford, this is a time of nurturing individuality, of opening young minds to endless possibilities, and of encouraging students to think creatively and form their own ideas – all while having fun.
We believe that it is essential that students have a good grounding in the basics; educators concentrate on building reading, writing and mathematics foundations, whilst diving into subjects like science, history and geography.
Key Stage Two (KS2) is a four-year phase, encompassing Year 3 through Year 6, for students from 7 to 11 years old.
Here, our educators are purposefully focused on equipping all students with a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience. Through engaging learning opportunities, students are encouraged to become more independent and self-directed. They experiment with ideas, apply their knowledge and make decisions, while teachers nurture their self-esteem and self-confidence.
We engage students in academics, foster their strengths and challenge each individual to be the very best that they can be.
